Job Description:

Entertainment company is looking to hire a contract HR Assistant to join their team! In this role, you will help support the administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. Location: Santa Monica, CA Schedule: HYBRID - 3 days a week onsite (Tues-Thur)Responsibilities:

• Manage complex calendar requests, including coordination and ensuring all information is accurate and prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Handle correspondence and communication with employees and external partners.
• Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
• Assist in the onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientations.
• Post job openings on various platforms and screen resumes as needed.
• Address employee inquiries and provide timely responses or redirect to appropriate HR personnel.
• Support HR initiatives and programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations.
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions and other HR-related activities.Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an HR or Recruitment Assistant role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
